ALMOND JOY BROWNIES


ALMOND JOY BROWNIES
  1. cup plus 2 tbl. sifted flour 1/2 tsp. salt
  2. 2-1/4 oz. each chocolate covered coconut candy bars (Almond Joy)
1/2 cup Crisco 1 cup sugar
  1. tsp. vanilla
  2. eggs


Sift together the flour and salt. 

Chop up the candy bars and melt them with the Crisco over hot water; stir occasionally to blend.

 Blend in 1 cup sugar and vanilla.

 Add the eggs, one at a time. Beat well after each. Blend in the dry ingredients; mix thoroughly.

Turn into a well greased 9 by 9 by 2 inch pan.

Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes until it springs back when touched lightly in the center.
